To add to the giant-sized fun, is a professional sized soccer field, a trampoline built into the ground, and spacious lawns for camp games or frisbee. The deck on the front of the lodge is an excellent spot to relax with a book, and it makes the perfect vantage point to watch others compete on Tamarack's two best courts, which include overhead lights for night play. There are five other buildings on the campus that house campers and counselors. There is also a Large Red Barn that features a gym, three sided climbing wall, and game area.
Not only is Tamarack adorned by a gorgeous and comfortable setting, there are more activities than just tennis for the campers to enjoy. At the heart of the camp sits the lodge, containing a dining hall, kitchen, a cozy lounge for the staff, a living room, extra bunk rooms, the camp offices, a pro shop, and also a recreational area complete with a pool table, and ping-pong.
Cabins & Cottages
Up along the hillside Tamarack has 3 very unique and rustic cabins where our boys stay. Hill House sits atop the hill with a fabulous look out of the camp, while Mac Shack and Dietrich's tuck just inside the tree line above court Hazels. Cabin life is always a high point for our campers as they build relationships with other campers, laugh and play games with their counselors and of course get all of their summer reading done.
Our older girls live in Cottage, a recently renovated building that is separated into two cabins. Housing 8 campers per side, Cottage life is always an integral part of their Tamarack experience and the bonds that are formed often last a lifetime.
The Main Lodge offers two more cabin rooms for our youngest Girls" They love being able to overflow into the living room for evening chats and laughs with their counselors and of course enjoy the shortest walk to breakfast in the morning, a real perk.
Clay Tennis Courts
Nestled around the lodge, you will find eleven clay tennis courts, which are seamlessly built into the natural setting of the camp.
